Richard Leparmentier in Star Wars (1977)

LeParmentier will perhaps be best remembered for his part as Admiral Motti in Star Wars: Episode IV: A New Hope, in which his character was famously choked to death by Darth Vader.

In a statement from his three children, they said he “is one with the Force” and thanked their father’s fans and friends for their longtime support.
